The Tawanipi Outfitter is located on the southern arm of the Philomene Bay very near the Walleye protected stocking zone. A very quiet and wind protected area favored by many yet only a few easy minutes to access te expanse of the main Baskatong Lake

There is also a small pike lake available if desired.

You can enjoy fishing for all of the following species:

• Walleye • Northern Pike• Ouananiche (land locked salmon)
• Perch• Whitefish • Sturgeon

The Baskatong Reservoir is fish managed by the association Aire Faunique Communautaire (AFC). Over and above a regular Quebec fishing liscence you will be required to purchase a special licence for the duration of your stay. Available as 3 day weekend, weekly, family etc. and available at the lodge office.

All funds go to the restocking of walleye, management of the Baskatong area and it's guaranteed longevity as a sports fishing and vacation paradise.

Situated in the Upper Laurentians between the Ottawa/ Outouais, and the Abitibi/ Val D'or regions the area offers multiple options for vacations, camping, hunting and fishing. A world to explore.

Situated in the Zone 11 EastTawanipi offers lodging in our renovated and all season cabins, hunting blinds,hunting for deer, bear, rabbit, grouse, ducks and more. Guides are available.

During the winter season we offer our cosy 4 season cabins for weekends, a week or more as desired. You can enjoy nature walking tours, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, taboganning and other activities.
